ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Load and unload trucks, operate dock doors and dock plates.
- Use Radio Frequency scanner gun to move materials.
- Use two-way radio for communication.
- Deliver and stage materials for production needs.
- Process required paperwork both on the computer and on paper.
- Operate a fork high-lift power truck to transport materials, machined parts, products, etc.
- Work from verbal and written instructions.
- Assemble and check orders.
- Handle DOT regulated materials.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Employees shall have a high school diploma.
- Forklift experience is required, with high lift-swing reach certification will be required within 90 days of employment.
- Demonstrate experience with a pallet jack and other materials handling equipment as required.
- Previous experience handling DOT regulated materials a PLUS.
- Entry level computer data entry skills.
- Starting pay is based on ability and experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
Frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. Employees are occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move physical products up to 60 lbs. and maneuver up to 110 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
