Sodium Carbonate is an alkali base, also known as “soda ash”. ACS grade sodium carbonate is used in laboratory and manufacturing applications as a pH adjuster, anti-caking agent, and manufacturing aid for applications like glass making where it is used to lower melting temperatures.
ACS grade Sodium Carbonate specification is designed to meet the standards set by the American Chemical Society (ACS).
Sodium Carbonate is found in three hydrate forms (monohydrate, heptahydrate, and decahydrate) and anhydrous form.
