Product Description:
In food applications, calcium chloride is commonly used as a firming agent, a brine component, and as a mineralizing agent in some beverages. Calcium chloride is also commonly used to lower the freezing point of mixtures, preventing or slowing the freezing process for a variety of applications, including in some in food production.
Our FCC specification is designed to comply with the requirements set forth by the Food Chemical Codex (FCC) for Anhydrous Calcium Chloride.
