CCI Batting 1000 – Again!

Columbus Chemical Industries’ #1 corporate Value is safety, and we work hard to put that value into practice.  For the second time in the past 6 years we have worked over 1000 days without a lost time injury, including both CCI facilities in WI and AZ!  We are very proud of this achievement, especially considering the diversity and quantity of hazardous materials we handle, and the large number of products and customers we serve.  While we provide comprehensive safety programs and management for our associates, the real key to our ongoing high safety performance is that our associates take ownership of their and their fellow associates’ on-the-job safety.  They not only “think safety” in planning and executing their work, they offer real-time constructive observations to other associates and bring forward opportunities for improvement on a company level.  We listen to our associates and act on these initiatives, helping create a company-wide atmosphere of safety performance.
